Enjoyable mexican and it's close to home.

The chips & salsas are great. They have decent specials, especially during Canucks games. Portion sizes are alright and all the trimmings are nice enough. I like the feta over the beans. Nothing has really stood out to make me go WOAH but it's been satisfying and pleasant every time.

My boyfriend really enjoyed their ultimate caesar! And their churros with whipped cream are good.

We stumbled upon La Casita on our quest for lunch. Laid back but attentive service. Not your standard Mexican plate of orange cheese. Quite the opposite! My dining partner deemed the tortilla soup the best soup he's ever had. My combo quesadilla/flauta was delicious. We all loved the duo of salsas. Yeah you don't get chips and salsa the minute you sit down, but we can live with that. We thought it was great and will definitely be back the next time we're in Vancouver.
