Around the World in 80

Here is what they say about themselves:

Around the world in 80..." is a group dedicated to experiencing different cultures from around the world by visiting restaurants, bars, festivals or events in Vancouver.

From Australia to Canada to Ireland to Taiwan to Zimbabwe...and everything in between. We welcome meetup ideas from everyone.

As long as it clearly & positively embraces culture in some way, we're game.

Feel free to recommend any events, bars or restaurants in Vancouver that you think would be fun for the group.

Here is what they say about themselves:

This is a social group for those who love Mexico and plan to vacation or spend extended time there.

We can exchange information and ideas (support an orphanage??) as well as create a network of Lower Mainland Mexamigos who can possibly "meetup" in Mexico some day. Of course, we want to have fun and meet amigos here too.

Some meetups may suit those looking to retire in Mexico and some may suit those looking to fiesta at the beach for a week. We will also offer the opportunity to find travel companions, arrange group travel and have access to special travel deals.

All special interests related to Mexico will be welcome and members are free to start a discussion or post their own meetups.
