We finally found a gem in Vancouver where we live! Home made shells for the quesadillas, authentic cheeses, and awesome slaw as an accompaniement. The flavors are authentic and clean."

The service is good too, but die to the location it tends to get very busy on the weekends. Their Negro Modelo beer is a great accompaniment to their food. Their enchiladas mole are always extremely tasty and the small is more than filling. Their tortilla soup and flautas make a great combo and they have excellent daily specials. If you are not into drinking, their Horchata is large and tasty. "

lou123Canmore says: "This is our fourth visit to La Casita. The food is very consistent and not overly pricey. Manager (possibly owner) is always on the floor doing table checks. This is a good sign. The one complaint we would have is that is in need of air conditioning. Every time we have been it has been super hot in the dining room, I can't even imagine the kitchen. Over all pretty authentic, not too "tex-mex". Seems to attract a wide range of clients, group space downstairs is always busy. More bathrooms would be nice."

susie j says: "I loved La Casita, it had a really nice vibe. We ended up going twice! I had the chile relleno and chimichanga. The dish sizes were HUGE and i had to get a doggie bag. The service was good and attentive. and the second time we got a seat by a window which was really nice. the sangria's are yum! The Armadillo eggs were also delicious. I wish La Casita was in New Zealand because it was so yum. Not too loud, we went with friends and could still hear them talking. It has a nice intimate feel"
