This is one of my boyfriend's and my go to places for a meal out. We both always order a tortilla soup (other Latin places I have tried the tortilla soup and it never compares!) and then a small sized entree and we are never disappointed, and I usually have left overs for later :). The past two times we have gone they have been Friday/Saturday nights (usually go on a weekday) and they were busy, but made room for us and served us quickly (we were in a rush to catch a movie one night). The manager, or owner (not sure) is always there helping run orders/drinks. And the big bowl margaritas are so good (not to mention fun to have), went there for a birthday once and ended up drinking two myself! Good place to try in Gastown!
They have a basement that not many people know about, so they can accommodate larger, or birthday parties.
